Blackwell exit shocked Kozluk

Sheffield United defender Rob Kozluk has revealed the players at Bramall Lane were upset by the departure of former manager Kevin Blackwell. Blackwell, who brought Kozluk back for a second spell following his release from Barnsley earlier in the summer, left the Blades by mutual consent after the recent 3-0 home defeat to Neil Warnock's QPR. Kozluk told the Sheffield Star: "It was a big shock for everyone. None of us saw it coming, especially because it was so early in the season. "The lads didn't take it kindly because we know how good a manager Kevin is. I've not spoke to Kevin since he's left the club but I sent him a text message and wished him the best for the future. "I'm sure once the dust settles I'll pick up the phone and see how he's getting on. I've got a lot to thank him for."
