Sheffield United's latest loan signing Kyle Bartley left a big impression on manager Kevin Blackwell after his debut in the 2-1 defeat at Preston. The Arsenal teenager joined United on a three-month loan deal in time to start at Deepdale and cut an assured figure at the heart of the visitors' defence. Blackwell said: "He's only 18, but I thought he did terrifically well against big Jon Parkin. "Arsenal rate him highly and he only arrived at the hotel the morning before the game, but because of our injury crisis I had to throw him in." Blackwell added that he expects injured goalkeeper Mark Bunn to be sidelined for around six weeks with a broken hand.
