Sevilla expecting Fabiano return

Sevilla's sporting director Ramon 'Monchi' Rodriguez remains confident that Brazil striker Luis Fabiano will stay with the club this summer.

The 29-year-old South American has been heavily linked with both Manchester United and AC Milan, despite vowing to stay put at the Sanchez Pizjuan.

Monchi is convinced that Fabiano will be true to his word, telling the Spanish press: "I spoke to Luis almost every day when he was in South Africa and his main and I believe only idea, is to remain at Sevilla.

"Milan, as of today, have not made any offer. Not Milan nor any another club.

"We are expecting him back on the 26th for pre-season training, along with Didier Zokora and Sebastien Squillaci (who were also away at the World Cup)."
