Romaric unhappy with setback
01 Nov 2010 - 16:41:16
Seville midfielder Koffi Ndri Romaric has spoken of his disappointment after the side crashed to a 5-0 La Liga loss at Barcelona at the weekend.
The Ivory Coast man was helpless as the Catalan giants stamped their mark at Camp Nou with Lionel Messi and David Villa notching braces and Daniel Alves getting in on the act against his former employers on Saturday evening.
After Abdoulay Konko was dismissed on the stroke of half time, Romaric admitted they always faced an uphill battle and he now wants to focus on Thursday's Europa League test against Karpaty Lviv.
"It was a tough game, and to go a goal down so fast makes it very difficult. Barcelona are very strong and we produced a very bad game," he said.
"Against Barcelona it is always complicated, we tried, but they came out on top. The group is extremely unhappy with a 5-0 scoreline. We are disappointed, but we must have the strength to lift our head and think of the Europa League.
"The most important thing is how we play, what we do on the field, and now we must correct many things."
