Renato hoping for La Liga victory

Seville star Renato insists the team must put on a performance in their upcoming La Liga clash with Valencia.

The two sides lock horn on Monday evening at Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan with the Andalusians trailing Los Che by three points in the table and the Brazilian is hoping his team-mates can forget about last weekend's 5-0 thumping at Barcelona by landing a morale-boosting victory.

"We must learn from our mistakes in the season so far, and make sure we do not repeat them. Against Valencia we have to play well," he said.

"We know that the only thing that applies to the Valencia game is to win.

"The game on Monday, we should play like a final, and hopefully we can win. Matches against Valencia are always very intense and very complicated. I think that this match will mean more than three points."
