Negredo denies coach fall-out

Sevilla striker Alvaro Negredo has dismissed reports of a fall-out with coach Manolo Jimenez.

Negredo reacted angrily to being substituted during the first half of Wednesday's Copa del Rey victory over Getafe.

"I talked to him (Jimenez) and there is no problem," claimed the former Real Madrid striker.

"It is clear that nobody likes to be replaced. My anger was for the change, then you see the team win and you realise that the change was understandable.

"I must praise Jimenez because it went well. I talked to him, I said I was upset, because no-one likes to leave the pitch after 35 minutes.

"These are decisions made by the coach, but I have great desire, and it is up to me to prove that they were wrong to replace me."
