Negredo cool under pressure

Sevilla striker Alvaro Negredo has refused to be too downcast by a lack of goals for his new club this season.

The 24-year-old Spain international has netted just three times for Sevilla this season, having moved to the Sanchez Pizjuan in the summer from Real Madrid.

Negredo admitted: "Obviously I'm not comfortable when I don't score, because that's my job, but I'm not nervous or affected by it. These are spells that you go through.

"I feel happy and confident. My mission is to score goals, but the principal objective is that the team wins.

"I signed for Sevilla to continue setting my goals high. I knew that I was coming to a club with extraordinary expectations and great strikers."
