Del Nido defiant over Alves

Sevilla president Jose Maria del Nido has laughed off rumours suggesting that he would allow Brazilian wing-back Daniel Alves to leave the club next summer for a fee of 25million euros.
Barcelona have been rumoured to be closing in on a deal for the 24-year-old South American, but del Nido is in no rush to sanction a deal.
He told the Spanish media: "For 25million euros I will send them Daniel's boots so that they give them to a full-back in their youth team.
"He is a truly great football player, perhaps the best right-back in the world at the moment, my dream is for him to stay here for the four years that he signed up for.
"Last year there was this debate too and in many papers it was published that Daniel had already been sold by Sevilla.
"We are going to let the players focus on playing for Sevilla now and when the season finishes then we shall decide which players will be sold and which will be signed.
"For the moment, Sevilla will not listen to offers for any players while we are still playing for a possible Champions League place."
