Capel still waiting on contract

Sevilla star Diego Capel insists he wants to stay at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan despite discussions over a new contract reaching a stalemate.

The 21-year-old winger has been locked in negotiations with the Andalucian club for the last six months without reaching agreement, but the deadlock is not forcing him to consider his future just yet.

"Up to now nothing has been said again," he revealed.

"I have already said on many occasions that I want to renew, but it is at a deadlock.

"I would like to stay with Sevilla, as it is the club where I have made my career so far and it would be good.

"But things are on hold and we will speak later."
