Serbia and Montenegro striker Mirko Vucinic has been ruled out of the World Cup finals by a knee injury.
The Lecce star suffered the injury on Tuesday while playing for the national Under-21 team against Germany in the European Championship.
The news came as a disappointment to Plavi coach Ilija Petkovic, who hinted he does not intend to bring a like for like replacement into his squad.
"We need a bit of time and we will name a replacement for Vucinic in the next few days," said Petkovic.
"We will call up a player we need as we have five fit strikers at the moment."
