The 6ft 7" Zigic made his name at Red Star Belgrade, where he scored a remarkable 71 goals in 110 games from 2003-2006.
On the eve of the 2006/07 season he joined Racing Santander, and made such an impression in his opening season he was brought for £20 million by high-flying Valencia.
The striker returned to Racing on loan in January 2009 and scored 13 times in 19 appearances, but is now back at Valencia and fighting for a first-team place.
Zigic has won 42 caps for Serbia and scored 16 times.
