Yeovil game called off

Scunthorpe's League One game at Yeovil Town has been postponed due to a frozen pitch.

The fixture was the seventh game in the division called off due to cold weather, which saw the temperature drop as low as -16c in some parts of the country.

Only a handful of matches were expected to go ahead as scheduled in the lower divisions, with two Championship games - at Crystal Palace and Peterborough - also off.

Every horse racing meeting in the country was also called off due to frozen tracks.
