The right-back Johnathan Williams has signed professional terms with Scunthorpe, the only second year trainee to be kept on. Williams, 18, who can also play in midfield, has established himself as a regular in the Iron's reserve team this season. He signed a one-year contract on Monday. "I'm really excited about the challenge and want to make an impression here," he told United's official website. "The aim over the coming season will be to improve my all-round game and keep developing as a player."
