U21 call for Nolan

Eddie Nolan will miss Scunthorpe's Carling Cup first round tie with Oldham Athletic after being named in the Republic of Ireland U21 squad to face Estonia. Instead of taking on the Latics the on loan defender, 21, will be part of the squad taking on Estonia in a European Championship qualifying game in Tallaght on Tuesday August 10. It will be Nolan's first chance to impress new U21 coach Noel King, who was put in charge of the side last week.
