Scunthorpe beset by injuries

Scunthorpe boss Ian Baraclough is again beset by injury problems as his struggling side prepare to host derby rivals Hull.Centre-back David Mirfin is almost certain to play no part after pulling up with a thigh strain during training on Sunday, which forced him to miss Tuesday's 2-0 defeat at Middlesbrough.Mirfin's fellow centre-back Michael Raynes is struggling to recover from gastroenteritis and goalkeeper Joe Murphy is still troubled by an ankle problem.Midfielder Abdisalam Ibrahim will also miss the match as he serves a one-match suspension but defender Michael Nelson should make his debut after arriving from Norwich earlier this week.Midfielder Michael O`Connor and winger Garry Thompson remain long-term absentees as the Iron bid to claim only their second home win of the season.
