Murphy gets Ireland call

Scunthorpe goalkeeper Joe Murphy has been handed a late call-up into the Republic of Ireland squad for Wednesday`s friendly with Norway.Murphy, 29, linked up with Giovanni Trappatoni's squad in Portmarnock on Sunday night.Iron midfielder Michael O'Connor is also away on international duty this week after joining the Northern Ireland squad for their friendly with Morocco on Wednesday.
