Milne happy with Iron choice

Kenny Milne has reacted with surprise to comments made by Motherwell manager Mark McGhee after opting to sign for Scunthorpe United rather than move to Fir Park.
The defender decided to move south of the border after spending the last three seasons with Falkirk, a decision that "puzzled" and "amazed" McGhee.
However, Milne has hit back at the Steelmen boss, telling the Daily Record: "I thought about European football and I know it's a great thing to have on your CV.
"But going south is what I've wanted to do for a few seasons now I've been in Scotland for 11 years and it's just the same every season, the same teams and players you're up against.
"I needed a new challenge as I felt I was stagnating. I'm 28 so I thought maybe it was now or never as I might not want to do this in my 30s
"Scunthorpe are a massive club. I think they should be in the Premier League never mind the Championship. I'm glad of the decision, not just coming down to England, but financially it's a great move as well at this time of my career."
