Iron's Sparrow setback

Scunthorpe United will have to continue their promotion push without Matthew Sparrow after it was confirmed that the influential midfielder will be sidelined for at least six weeks.
The 25-year-old has received the results of a scan that showed he has severely sprained his medial ligament.
However, initial fears that Sparrow would require knee surgery after he limped out of last weekend's 2-0 victory over Carlisle United have proved unfounded.
Sparrow came through the youth-team ranks at Glanford Park and has made 230 League appearances for The Iron.
