Iron to host Middlesbrough in pre-season

Scunthorpe have confirmed their fourth friendly of the pre-season, with Championship side Middlesbrough visiting Glanford Park.

The game will take place on Wednesday August 8, kicking-off at 7.30pm.United will take on Bray Wanderers and Wayside Celtic as part of a training camp in the Republic of Ireland, and also host non-league neighbours Grimsby Town in a Lincolnshire Senior Cup semi-final.There are also likely to be games against local non-league sides Brigg Town, Winterton Rangers and Bottesford.
