Iron swoop for second loanee

Scunthorpe United have made a second loan swoop in as many days after adding Southampton defender Joseph Mills to their ranks.

Mills, 19, has followed Ipswich Town midfielder Liam Trotter into Glanford Park.

Both players have joined the League One promotion hopefuls on initial one-month loan deals.

"He's (Mills) a young hungry player with a good size about him and twenty years of age," said manager Nigel Adkins.

"He's already played in the Championship this year so he's got a calibre to play."
