Iron snap up Beckford

Scunthorpe United have snapped up Leeds United forward Jermaine Beckford on loan as they continue their surprise bid to win promotion to the Championship.
The 23-year-old has made 11 appearances for the West Yorkshire side since arriving at Elland Road from Wealdstone last year.
He was loaned out to Carlisle United earlier this season and made five appearances for the Cumbrians.
Beckford's only first-team goal came since leaving Wealdstone came when he netted Carlisle's consolation in the 2-1 home defeat to Millwall three months ago.
