Iron lose injured midfielder

Scunthorpe United midfielder Ian Morris is facing up to eight weeks on the sidelines with a knee injury.

Morris, 21, came on as a substitute in Sunday's 2-0 defeat to Huddersfield Town but failed to complete the game.

The midfielder slipped on the Glanford Park turf and now faces a lengthy spell on the sidelines.

Meanwhile, Ben May and Krystian Pearce are both early doubts for the FA Cup third round trip to Watford at the weekend with muscle injuries sustained in the same game.
