Iron game called off

Saturday's home game against Carlisle United was called off after a pitch inspection just before midday.

Steven Rushton took to the Glanford Park turf after heavy overnight rain, which prompted several postponements nationwide. 

As of midday, League One games at Hartlepool and Brentford were called off, with five League Two ties and nine Blue Square Premier matches also falling foul of the weather.

Several other inspections were planned.
