Scunthorpe United boss Nigel Adkins has extended Birmingham City defender Krystian Pearce's loan stay at Glanford Park until January. The 18-year-old was initially set to stay with the Iron for just one month when the deal was agreed two weeks ago. However, Adkins has opted to keep Pearce because of injuries to Izzy Iriekpen, Kenny Milne and Andy Crosby. The teenager has featured in United's recent victories against Peterborough United and Stockport County.
