Scunthorpe United manager Nigel Adkins was delighted with his side's efforts after a 1-1 home draw against Nottingham Forest.
The result keeps the Iron well on course for promotion to the Championship after a fantastic season for the Glanford Park club.
Adkins said: "It's a good one for us, taking us one step closer to our dream of Championship football.
"It has been a great day for this club in front of a capacity league crowd for the first time since we moved to Glanford Park nearly 20 years ago.
"I was not too happy with our first-half performance, but we changed things at half-time and did much better in the second half.
"It was a great goal to get us back on level terms and Billy Sharp might then have gone on to get us a winner."
