Iron boss backing for McNulty

The 25-year-old has struggled with injury since joining Brighton from Stockport in January 2009, but Adkins thinks he can make a positive impact. "I saw him play a lot when he was at Stockport. I watched him play against us and he was outstanding," Adkins told the club's official website. "He's a player we made an enquiry about when he was there but we couldn't afford the deal which Brighton agreed with Stockport and himself. "He's a player we've kept an eye on. He's been very unfortunate with injury but we've brought him in for a month, because of the injury situation, and can have a good look at him. He's a player we like."
