Hooper hoping to tackle Blades
The 22-year-old has missed United's last four games with a groin injury and is hoping he will be fit for the trip to Bramall Lane. Hooper told his club's official website "I'm desperate to play on Sunday, it's hard watching when you want to be out playing. We'll have to see how training goes on Saturday first though but I'd love to play. "I might not get back in the side though because Garry Thompson has done so well (scoring three goals in the last two games while playing in Hooper's usual striking position). "He missed a sitter for his hat-trick and I've given him some stick for that, but he's done really well alongside Paul Hayes" Hooper is currently Scunthorpe's leading scorer on 12 goals.
