Hereford United have signed Southend United forward Gary Hooper on a month's loan.
The 20-year-old has scored just twice in 18 appearances for the Blues this season, but has been handed a new contract running until the summer of 2009.
Hooper heads to Edgar Street to link up with the Bulls as boss Graham Turner currently has injury worries over Steve Guinan and Trevor Benjamin, while Theo Robinson has an impending one-game suspension.
Former Grays Athletic star Hooper joined Southend in the summer of 2006 and has scored four goals in 43 appearances in total, while having also spent a month on loan at Leyton Orient last season.
