Scunthorpe striker Freddie Sears has set his sights on ending his personal goal drought. The 21-year-old forward, on loan from Premier League West Ham, has had to wait nearly two years to find the back of the net at first-team level since his Hammers debut against Blackburn in March 2008.The former England Under-21 international is confident that staying with the Iron will help him to rediscover the prolific touch he showed in his teens."I would be lying if I said it wasn't frustrating, as a striker I always want to score goals." he told the Scunthorpe Telegraph."As long as I keep working hard and hitting the target then I am sure they will start to go in.Manager Ian Baraclough has confirmed he has already started talks on extending the loan, Sears adding: "I would be happy to stay here at Scunthorpe for the rest of this season."
