Four in line for debuts

Jon Parkin, David Mirfin, Jamie Reckford and Robbie Gibbons are all in contention for the Iron debuts at Yeovil Town.

All four signed before the close of the transfer deadline, and were made to wait to make their first appearances in claret and blue after last week's home tie with Walsall was postponed.

Mirfin's debut would be his second for the club, having moved back on loan from Watford.

Should this weekend's game go ahead at Huish Park, then manager Alan Knill could have a large squad to select from.

Cliff Byrne, the club captain, is fit from a groin injury while Damien Mozika (ankle) is also back in contention. Jimmy Ryan (knee) and Jordan Robertson (hip) are both absent.On-loan right-back Christian Ribeiro will return, having suffered concussion seconds into his home debut against Sheffield Wednesday.Midfielder Michael Collins (Achilles), plus strikers Connor Jennings (foot) and Matt Godden (hip) are also out.Yeovil are likely to give a debut to former Iron defender Richard Hinds in the centre of defence in place of the suspended Paul Huntington.Glovers manager Gary Johnson will not be able to call on full-back Ryan Dickson after he was recalled from his loan spell by parent club Southampton.
