Ellington to return to Ipswich

Striker Nathan Ellington will return to Ipswich after the conclusion of his loan deal.

Brian Laws confirmed that Ellington, who failed to make an impression on a one month loan deal will now return to Portman Road.

"Now that we have Akpo in there we have no finances to maintain Nathan Ellington being here", Laws said.

"He has been hit and miss and it has been a bit of a stop start scenario.

"We cannot afford to carry on like that"

Ellington made six appearances but failed to find the net.
