Defender makes Iron loan switch

Friend, who recently spent a period on loan at Southend, is eligible for Scunthorpe's match against Swansea on Saturday. The 22-year-old began his career at Exeter City, spending spells on loan at Tiverton and Team Bath before helping the Grecians to promotion to the Football League.
