Celtic Hooper bid 'accepted'

Gary Hooper's exit from Scunthorpe United appeared to draw near on Saturday morning as Glasgow Celtic were reported to have had a bid accepted by the Iron. The striker, 22, is the hottest property outside the Premier League this summer and the Scottish Sun claimed on Saturday morning that the Iron had accepted a £2.4million bid. That transfer fee would be the largest received by the Iron, eclipsing the deal that took Billy Sharp to Sheffield United for around £2m.
