Scunthorpe United manager Nigel Adkins will not appeal Kelly Youga's red card in Monday's 1-1 draw with Blackpool as he doesn't believe the move would be worthwhile.
Youga is facing a four-match ban after being sent off for the second time in the last six days.
The defender was also given his marching orders during last week's 1-1 draw with Coventry City.
But Adkins insists Youga will have to take his 71st minute dismissal against Blackpool at Glanford Park on the chin as there is no point in launching an appeal.
"I won't be appealing because the referee and the panel won't change their minds so you've got to get on with it," he said.
"He's given it. In today's football you're not allowed to tackle. It's changing the face of football.
"Young Kelly is enthusiastic about what he does and luckily he's not made contact with the lad so he didn't hurt him.
"The referee made the decision and that's life."
