Scunthorpe United boss Nigel Adkins is hopeful that injury-hit defender Kenny Milne will be able to return to action within the next month.
The 30-year-old has been sidelined for well over a year by a knee injury and is currently undergoing rehabilitation in the USA to try and ensure a return to action.
Adkins told the Evening Telegraph: "If he comes back okay, as we hope he will, it will be a massive, massive plus for us.
"We hope to have him back in three weeks' time, there or thereabouts, ready to contribute again at first-team level.
"Real leaders on the football field seem to be a dying breed at the moment, but Kenny is one of them.
"He has been an absolute role model to every player in the dressing room in the way he has worked to try and get back into action."
