Scunthorpe United boss Nigel Adkins has vowed to do all he can to bring in adequate replacements for the players he loses this summer.
Left-back Marcus Williams and striker Paul Hayes have both left Glanford Park, to join Reading and Preston respectively, but Adkins is confident of attracting players to join the club.
He told the Evening Telegraph: "We look forward to a new, exciting challenge and all I can do is do my best.
"It's not the end of the world. We have lost big players before and we have replaced them.
"We can look forward to another season in the Championship and we will work very hard to get a competitive squad together inside the financial restraints we have.
"This is another massive challenge, as everybody knows, but we are in the Championship and are a solvent club that lives within its means."
