Adkins opts to release trio

Jim Goodwin, Alex Morfaw and Kevin Horlock have all been told their futures lie away from Glanford Park.

Adkins said: "I'd like to thank all three players for their efforts during their time with us and wish them all the very best for the future."

Goodwin is the most high-profile departure, making 92 appearances for the Iron in his three seasons with the club.
