Scunthorpe United boss Nigel Adkins believes their promotion push is back on track after sweeping struggling Hereford United aside 3-0 at Glanford Park.
Gary Hooper, Kevan Hurst and Paul Hayes were on the mark as the Iron moved back inside the play-off places.
"It was an excellent result and performance," Adkins told the club's official website. "This is a game that everyone would have expected us to win - and we've done it.
"We played some high-tempo football and played some entertaining, attacking stuff. Obviously we'd have liked more goals but most importantly we kept a clean sheet - our first for a while.
"We showed a desire to play well for each other, the supporters are happy, the lads have a smile on their faces and worked very hard for each other."
