Woolford taking in Iron promotion

Woolford, 23, was playing at Northern Counties East outpost Glasshoughton Welfare just four years ago and only made his league debut this term after signing from York. But he was outstanding at Wembley, creating two goals before scoring the 85th-minute strike which saw Scunthorpe beat Millwall 3-2 to return to the Championship at the first time of asking. He said: "It's amazing, it's a dream come true for me. "I was playing in front of less than 2,000 fans last year so to play in front of 60,000 at Wembley is overwhelming. It hasn't really kicked in yet what we have achieved but I'm sure it will over the next few days. "To go from the Conference to the Championship in a year is a great achievement and it's hard to believe really. Newcastle and Middlesbrough are both big clubs and I can't wait to go and play there now."
