Woolford scored twice as the Iron stunned Newcastle with a 2-1 victory at Glanford Park. The former York man was only recalled to the side to replace the suspended Michael O'Connor and duly made the most of his opportunity. He told the club's official website: "It's unbelievable. It was one of the biggest games of my career to play against a club like Newcastle and to get both goals is overwhelming, yet a fantastic feeling." He added: "I wanted to make sure that I was ready for the game after sitting out a few matches and I wanted to impress."
