Williams poised to miss out

Scunthorpe boss Alan Knill looks set to be without defender Marcus Williams for his side's home clash with leaders QPR. The on-loan Reading full-back, who quit Glanford Park for the Royals in the summer, rejoined the Iron on loan a fortnight ago. However, a back injury has so far left him sidelined and looks likely to do so again, although on-loan Leeds striker Ramon Nunez is set to make his home debut for the bottom-placed club. Defender Paul Reid was sent off in last weekend's 6-0 defeat at Norwich and will miss out against Neil Warnock's men as he serves a one-game ban. Winger Garry Thompson has been ruled out for the rest of the season after undergoing groin surgery last week.
