Upbeat Iron boss looks ahead

The Irons are looking for back-to-back wins when they take on Watford on Saturday after beating Barnsley in midweek thanks to Paul Hayes' last-gasp winner.

However, Adkins knows the Hornets will be a difficult proposition, having seen his side lose 3-0 at Vicarage Road earlier in the season.

"It will be a tough, tough game for us and they haven't played for ten days so there should be a freshness from them, but our lads are fit and looking forward to a good game," Adkins told the club's official website.

"We're doing very well, we've won our last game, we've got a run of fixtures coming up that we believe we can win.

"It's important we keep a positivity about the building - that's important. It's human nature in this country to look on the negative side, but we try to be positive."
