Scunthorpe caretaker boss Tony Daws has been handed a boost after Andy Hughes, Sam Togwell and Ben Gordon were passed fit for the trip to Ipswich. Utility-man Hughes sustained a facial injury during Tuesday`s 3-0 home defeat to Preston and was replaced during the first half, but he is available to face the Tractor Boys. Midfielder Togwell has missed the last two matches with a hamstring strain and left-back Gordon is suffering from the same injury. He was replaced at half-time against Leicester last weekend and missed out altogether in midweek. Goalkeeper Joe Murphy (ankle), midfielder Garry Thompson (groin) and right-back Cliff Byrne (back) all remain sidelined as the Iron seek to breathe new life into their fight against the drop.
