Togwell impressed with Knill approach

Scunthorpe midfielder Sam Togwell has hailed the impact of Alan Knill in reversing the club's fortunes since his arrival at Glanford Park. The Iron looked certainties for relegation but Knill has guided them to two priceless wins in four games in charge so far. Saturday's 2-1 triumph against relegation rivals Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park moved Knill's men to within three points of safety with four matches remaining. "I liked Ian Baraclough and his staff, but the way they wanted us to play is different to what the new gaffer and his staff want," said Togwell. "I think that the key is we are playing passing football again. The gaffer has got us working really hard in training and I think that is being reflected in what we are doing on the pitch. "We have always believed in the dressing room that we have a squad that is good enough to stay in the Championship."
