Boss Nigel Adkins selected winger Thompson to partner Paul Hayes in attack against the Pilgrims in the absence of leading scorer Gary Hooper and his selection was vindicated when the former Morecambe man scored the equaliser in a 2-1 win at Glanford Park.[LNB]The victory moved Adkins' side out of the relegation zone and Thompson is determined to secure another precious victory when they entertain Posh.[LNB]He told the club's official website: "Peterborough is an even bigger game than Plymouth was.[LNB]"We've done half the job by beating Plymouth. We know these are two massive games at home and we have to get six points from them.[LNB]"The fact we got the win at the weekend will make Tuesday even more interesting."[LNB][LNB]
