Southend to get cut of Hoops deal

Scunthorpe United confirm Southend United are entitled to a cut of the profit on Gary Hooper's sale as part of their original deal.

The Iron's General Manager David Beeby confirmed that the Shrimpers will receive a sell on fee, however the amount is unknown because of a confidentiality agreement between the two clubs.

Southend had already profited from a 20% sell on fee in the £2.4million deal that saw Hooper move north of the border in 2010.
