Freddie Sears' loan spell at Scunthorpe United came to an end after he was recalled by his parent club West Ham United. Sears, 21, has made nine appearances for the Iron after joining on loan two months ago - making his debut in the Championship win at Preston North End. The Hammers have an injury crisis so recalled Sears. Ian Baraclough, the Iron manager, has already stated his intention to try and extend his loan until the end of the season - raising the possibility of a return in next month's transfer window.
