Luke Williams could return for Scunthorpe against Shrewsbury

Scunthorpe midfielder Luke Williams could return to the squad for the home game against Shrewsbury.

Iron boss Mark Robins opted not to include Williams in his squad for last week's home win against Oldham, but he could be involved this week.

Robins has no new injury or suspension worries as his side bid for a third straight win.

But midfielder Jamie Ness (hamstring), defender Niall Canavan (ankle) and midfielder Stephen Dawson (knee) remain sidelined.

Sullay Kaikai is pushing to start for Shrewsbury after his impact as a substitute in the comeback win over Colchester.

The Crystal Palace loanee scored twice after coming off the bench to help Town recover from 2-0 down to win 4-2 last week.

Tyrone Barnett could also make his first league start in almost a month after he netted twice from the bench against the U's.

Midfielder James Wesolowski is sidelined for the rest of the season with a serious knee injury, his second of 2015.
