Robins set to make changes

Scunthorpe boss Mark Robins is likely to be forced into changes against Port Vale.

Neal Bishop returned from a hernia problem to lead the side in the 1-0 victory over Crawley on Saturday, but he sustained a broken nose and is a concern for Robins.

Alex Davey will also be monitored closely after the defender was forced from the pitch at half-time with a calf strain.

Andrew Boyce is the man likely to deputise, although Robins hinted Miguel Llera could be in contention for a recall. Theo Robinson will also be monitored after missing training due to the birth of his child.

Byron Moore is edging closer to a return but Vale will probably have an unchanged squad at Glanford Park.

Moore has been out since suffering a groin injury against Sheffield United on March 21, although Tuesday night may just be too soon for the winger.

Vale manager Rob Page made four changes against MK Dons as Achille Campion, Ben Williamson, Neill Collins and Michael O'Connor were recalled to the side in place of Tom Pope, Chris Birchall, Chris Robertson and Tommy O'Suillivan.

After halting a six-game losing run with a goalless draw on Saturday, Page may stick with the same players.
