Mixed news for Iron

Scunthorpe will be without both Neal Bishop and Jennison Myrie-Williams through suspension for their home game against Notts County but new signing Luke Williams should feature.

Former Magpies midfielder Bishop was booked for the fifth time this season during the midweek draw at Port Vale and winger Myrie-Williams was sent off for two yellow-card offences. Both players now serve one-game bans.

Highly-rated forward Williams arrived at Glanford Park on a month's loan from Middlesbrough on Thursday and should be involved.

Gary McSheffrey returns to contention after his one-game suspension and fellow striker Rory Fallon is hoping to overcome the knock that kept him out in midweek. Manager Mark Robins must decide whether to recall midfielder Sean McAllister, while defender Miguel Llera and winger Harry Adelukan are pushing for recalls.

Notts County will have an unchanged squad.

Shaun Derry's men came through their midweek win over Barnsley unscathed in terms of injuries. Full-back Jordan Cranston came off at half-time at Oakwell but it was a tactical switch by Derry.

Jake Cassidy has a toe injury and is a doubt along with club captain Hayden Mullins who is still nursing an injury.

The Magpies climbed into the play-off places with Tuesday night's 3-2 victory against the Tykes and on Saturday they will be looking to extend their unbeaten run to 11 matches.
